胃肠道间质瘤(GIST)是起源于Cajal间质细胞的消化道肿瘤,其发病率和死亡率较高。环状RNA是一类新型特殊的非编码RNA,其具有共价闭环结构,没有5′帽或3′ poly A尾巴,可以编码少量多肽。最新研究表明,circRNA在GIST发生发展过程中参与增殖、侵袭和转移等多个生物学过程,并且患者的临床和病理特征与circRNA的表达水平关系密切。circRNA在GIST作用和机制的进一步研究将为其临床诊断和治疗提供新的方向。

Gastrointestinal stromal tumor originates from interstitial cells of Cajal, and its morbidity and mortality is higher. CircRNA is a new type of special non-coding RNA, which has a covalent closed loop structure without a 5′cap or 3′poly A tail, and can encode a small amount of polypeptides. The latest research shows that circRNA is involved in multiple biological processes such as proliferation, invasion and metastasis in the occurrence of gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and the clinical and pathological characteristics of patients are closely related to the expression level of circRNA. Further research on the role and mechanism of circRNA in gastrointestinal stromal tumors will provide new directions for its clinical diagnosis and treatment.
