The current situation of research of gastroesophageal reflux disease

Abstract:

Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) has been the one of the main diseases of the digestive system that seriously affected our healthy.GERD is a common upper gastrointestinal dynamic disease.In order to look for the effective method for the treatment of this disease, specialists and scholars has been conducting experimental study on GERD in clinic and basics.Animal models can provide research platform of gastroesophageal anatomic structure and function.It can provide a lot of help in endoscopic treatment of GERD that exploring a way of making GERD animal models.There are a lot of methods to conduct the animal models, those can be divided into four kinds, including minimally invasive procedure, surgery method(for instance destroying LES, Pyloric or duodenal ligation, Gastroenterostomy and the like), pouring acid substance into gastroesophagael and making with endoscope.Each method has own advantages and disadvantages, that can be chose to make appropriate animal modals on the basis of own purpose and requirement.
