Abstract:

Pancreatic fluid collection (PFC) is a common complication after pancreatic injury. PFC can be divided into four categories according to the course of disease, the cystic wall and contents of the PFC. The traditional treatment of PFC is percutaneous catheter drainage (PCD) and surgery. With the continuous progress of medical technology, minimally invasive technology is the first choice, including endoscopic ultrasound-guided pancreatic pseudocyst drainage, minimally invasive retroperitoneal pancreatic necrotic tissue removal, etc. This paper reviews the definition, classification and common minimally invasive techniques of PFC.
