Abstract:

With the development of endoscopic technology, radical resection of early esophageal neoplastic lesions can be achieved by super minimally invasive surgery, with less trauma, faster recovery and fewer complications. However, due to the small area of early esophageal lesions, it is easy to miss diagnosis under traditional white light endoscopy (WLI).The emergence of staining endoscopy, including chemical and electronic staining endoscopy, has significantly improved the detection rate of early esophageal lesions. This article reviews the characteristics of different staining endoscopy and their application in the diagnosis of early esophageal cancer.
