Analyze the influence of psychological nursing intervention on anxiety and examination fit of patients undergoing gastroscopy

Objective

To investigate the effect of psychological nursing intervention on anxiety and examination fit of patients undergoing gastroscopy.

Methods

120 patients who underwent gastroscopy at the First People′s Hospital of Foshan from April 22, 2017 to April 22, 2018 were analyzed retrospectively, and computerized grouping method was used with 60 patients in each group.The observation group conducted a total of 60 psychological nursing interventions and 60 patients in the control group given the routine care.

Results

In the observation group, the abdominal distension (4.17±0.39), abdominal pain (5.46±1.28), vomiting (2.53±0.72), nausea (2.19±1.38), gastroscopy time (11.23±1.65) min, check the degree of cooperation (98.33%), accident rate (1.67%), SAS score (38.54±3.22), and SDS score (31.28±2.19) were better than that of the control group (P<0.05).

Conclusion

The psychological care for patients undergoing gastroscopy could improve the degree of coordination and reduce anxiety.
