The three-step sclerotherapy under fluoroscopy for esophageal varices

Abstract:

Sclerotherapy is one of the primary means of esophageal varices, the clinical effect of which has been recognized by medical workers.At present, the commonly used sclerotherapy in our country mostly adopts the method of local injection of lauromacrogol or tissue glue to achieve the effect of eliminating varicose veins through the formation of necrosis, shedding and ulceration of local blood vessels. The biggest drawback is the inadequate elimination of esophageal varicose veins, high recurrence rate, more complications. For the treatment of esophageal varices in Japan, the doctors often use the fluoroscopic three-step sclerotherapy, the elimination of esophageal varices is more adequate, while less recurrence and complications. The article intends to introduce the operation the fluoroscopic three-step sclerotherapy for esophageal varices, in order to promote its application in China.
