Application of duodenoscopy in reducing fault maintenance

Abstract:

Objective

Analyze the preventive maintenance measures on the reduction of fault repair.

Methods

Eight duodenoscopes from the Digestive endoscopy Center of Gastroenterology Department of PLA General Hospital, 810 cases from November 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the control group, and 840 cases from November 2021 to October 2022 were set as the observation group.The control group adopted the routine treatment process, observed and formed a management team and trained it, formulated and implemented preventive maintenance measures for each link of duodenoscope retreatment, observed the fault damage of the two groups and mastered the knowledge of retreatment.

Result

The damage in the control group was mainly related to the improper implementation methods of duodenoscopy and reprocessing; the maintenance rate decreased training and preventive maintenance measures.It was significant between the two groups (P<0.05).

Conclusion

The implementation of preventive maintenance measures can reduce the maintenance rate and maintenance cost of duodenoscopy, which is conducive to the better management of endoscopy.
