Abstract:
China is a country with high incidence and mortality of digestive tract cancer. In recent years, with the rapid development of digestive endoscopic diagnosis and treatment technology, pathological specimens of the digestive tract have become the largest type of specimens submitted to the department of pathology, making the digestive pathology be a huge challenge for pathologists. Therefore, in the process of specialized training of pathologists, early gastrointestinal cancer has become one of the most significant diseases during the training due to its high incidence, normalized diagnosis, and the need for close cooperation between endoscopists and pathologists. This paper introduces the implementation of the co-discussion between the Digestive Endoscopy Center and the Department of Pathology in our hospital, and explores the application value of this teaching mode in the training of digestive pathology, in order to improve the teaching and training effect of digestive specialist pathologists.
