New development of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in the diagnosis and treatment

Abstract:

Due to the efforts of several generations of endoscopists, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) is becoming better, and diagnoses clearly and treats effectively more pancreaticobiliary diseases. According to the disease classification, the review recalls previous researches on acute cholangitis, pancreatic cancer, benign biliary stenosis, cholangiocarcinoma, chronic pancreatitis, pancreas divisum, and summarizes new development of ERCP, and we all expect more breakthroughs in the future.
